Another full services project for AFH, this facility was completed in September, 2002.
This project for a Pain Management Specialist is a fully functional Ambulatory Surgical Facility and will be licensed by the state. Building areas include 2 operating rooms plus 2 additional rooms that double as procedure/step-down recovery areas as well as a central 5 bay recovery area. The center and site are designed for future expansion to 2 additional operatories. The gross area of the center which started construction in early 2002 is only 7,235 s.f.
Located in a residential scale medical park, the design for this new surgical facility takes a conservative yet solid approach utilizing brick and aluminum as the major exterior components for low maintenance. The facility's fully equipped and sophisticated systems required for surgical environments are hidden beneath it's unimposing, low sloping hip roof lines.
